Marta is a marine scientist, oceanographer and lover of all ocean wonders. She has vast experience monitoring water quality, seagrass and macroalgae populations to understand their response to stressors and resilience. Lately, Marta has been working on improving techniques to grow seaweed and she is passionate about increasing awareness of the role seaweed and seagrass have in preserving our natural ecosystems. She is fascinated by all the ways seaweed can be used to help solve important marine conservation issues.
