Mauricio is a highly skilled process engineer with over four years of experience. His interest in chemical and industrial processes has taken him into the steel, food, renewable energy and now renewable material industries. One of the experiences that allowed him to see the power of science and engineering happened while working for Haskell Engineering, a top Engineering, Procurement & Construction firm in America, in the Impossible Foods plant expansion in Mexico City. Impossible Foods has revolutionised the market by producing meat from plants. Mauricio’s mission at ULUU is clear: to produce bioplastic from seaweed! Mauricio holds a Masters in Professional Engineering from The University of Western Australia and a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from The National Autonomous University of Mexico.
