Today, we reached a big milestone in ULUU’s life…

Our initial manufacturing trials were successful.

We’ve turned ULUU from a raw powder into something you can touch, feel and bend!  For the first time – a set of transparent, flexible films and injection moulded rigid discs.

Simple but incredible.

We’re now one step closer to replacing plastic with ULUU – an ocean material set to revive the world.

A big thank you to our amazing partners at CSIRO manufacturing, led by Dr Pete Cass. His team worked hard analysing ULUU’s material properties in preparation for our first manufacturing trials. This work was also co-funded by CSIRO’s Kickstarter program, which we’re very grateful for.
